November is National Blog Posting Month, celebrated by posting every single day for an entire month. I am aware that some people have taken on doing this 365 days a year and I think that they're f'n insane overachievers with OCD far worse than my own really ambitious, creative people.
I have no time for this frivolity. Between sports, homework, lack of sleep, my job, diaper-changing, meal-preparing, book-reading, picture-taking, eating, showering, and other such luxuries, I am a little full right now. It is all I can do as a single working mother to celebrate the achievement of going to the bathroom on my own.
That being said, here I go. My dear devoted reader, you may look forward to a month of sarcasm, pictures of my children, and updates on birthdays, Halloween, and whether or not I have survived another day or given in to anxiety and/or exhaustion. You may not see any of that, however, you may see only this one post. This may be it. I will get in November 1st and it will all be over. Do you remember the OCD, overwhelming amount of things to do, and anxiety we just discussed? Yeah, I might not make it to day 2.
It's okay, we'll just take it one day at a time...like alcoholism, which I'm also strongly considering.
